The Literature, Arts, and Medicine blog focuses on topics in the medical humanities. Written primarily by invited contributors, it brings perspectives of the social sciences, humanities, and arts to current issues in medical education and training; health policy; patient-physician interaction; caregiver experience and patient experience. The blog is edited by Felice Aull, who recently retired from the NYUSOM faculty and is now adjunct associate curator. She is founding editor of a widely used resource for medical humanities teaching and scholarship, The Literature, Arts, and Medicine Database (http://litmed.med.nyu.edu).
